Find Your Place In The World’s Population




Your place in the World’s population history:


Now you can know your place in the World’s population history. BBC News has created a population counter web app, where you just input your birth date, and it will tell you your place in the ordering of human history. You can also select your country of origin and gender, and find out your average life expectancy. You can also see population numbers detailed by country.

That was what BBC’s latest project told me, "When I was born, I was the 5,330,928,105th person alive on Planet Earth. I was also the 80,411,657,628th person to have lived since history began".(shows in the image below)

It’s not just fun and games. Of course there’s some approximating going on, but the population data is based on the UN’s population calculator. I have no idea what use this information has, but you still want to know your number, don’t you.
