Air Conditioned Shirt

As the name implies, it’s a shirt that comes built in with fans. The shirt that has two sets of fans fitted that blow cool air. Well that is now a reality with the Kuchofuku Air-Conditioned Cooling Work Shirt.

The fans on the left and right sides of the back, taking in air to cleanse all the sweat off your spare tire. The fans are operated by two AA batteries and are housed on the back of the shirt. There's an external switch on the USB cable to adjust the fan speed.The shirt itself is a very practical design as far as work attire goes and is available in a neutral grey colour.

From the outside the shirt doesn’t appear to be anything special, although people might be suspicious as to why your shirt is making a whirring sound. It’s a short sleeved shirt and comes only in one color, so it’s not really a shirt you would wear to the office unless it’s a casual Friday.

So whilst everyone else is sweating it, you can remain the picture of refreshed coolness, whatever the temperature.

Flying Car Gets Approved for Driving on Public Roads

The Flying Car. What was once only considered a dream of the future has now become reality. Thanks to a hardship exemption good for three years from the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Terrafugia Transition Roadable Aircraft, Nicknamed the "Flying Car" can now be operated on public roads and highways.

While the designers refer to their project as a “roadable aircraft” instead of a “flying car,” the concept is the same. It is an airplane powered by a prop that transforms into four wheeled vehicle that can drive down a road at highway speeds. The vehicle has a number of safety features that you would expect to find in any modern car, including airbags and crumple zones.

The problem that the designers had with getting approval from the DOT is that the plane had motorcycle tires on it that were not approved for “multi-purpose vehicles.” In addition, the polycarbonate windshield met with some resistance from the DOT, as well.

The Terrafugia Transition requires of runway of at least 2,500 yards for takeoff. A valid driver’s license and at least a Sports Pilot license are required for operating the vehicle in the air and on land. Wonder how it turns into a car? The electo-mechanical wings fold up in under 30 seconds.

If you think that you simply must have one of these “flying cars,” then you’ll need to get your order in as soon as possible. According to www.terrafugia.com, there is already a backlog over 100 orders. There is no final price listed at this time, but rough estimates put the cost around $250,000. Production is slated to being in 2012, with the manufacturing plant to be located in Woburn, Massachusetts. There have already been many successful test flights and now with DOT’s approval, you just might get lucky enough to see one rolling down the highway.

Colored Chrome Text Effect

We’ve seen many photoshop tutorials showing how to create the chrome text effect. In this tutorial we will go a step further and create a colored chrome text effect.

First we need a bold rounded font. We can get a free one from here Let’s pick Adira Display. Then create a new file. Dimensions should be 500px x 500px. A dark gray background is just fine. Don’t pick black as we are going to adjust that part later with an adjustment layer. Write the world BIG in a new layer with font size of 190pt approx. Like the image below:

Double click on the font layer to bring up the layer styles window. Click on Gradient overlay and create the gradient that you will see on the following image.

We will need 6 colors and the values (from left to right) are:
1. #bedeec
2. #bcb7d7
3. #f0c9d7
4. #f5c8b5
5. #f5f2ca
6. #dff3fe

Now we should have the following image:

Back in the layer styles click on Satin and enter the following settings:

And now we should have something like this:

Now we are going to apply the following styles. Inner glow, Outer glow, Inner Shadow and Drop Shadow. Let’s see the settings for each one of them.

Inner shadow uses a custom Contour setting which can be seen in the following image:

Great. You should now see something like this:

It looks OK but we can improve it. Actually it doesn’t look like chrome yet. We need to apply the following Bevel and Emboss style to get there. Let’s see the settings. The custom Contour can be found on the following image too:

And we should get this:

Ah. That’s better. A bit darker would do the trick don’t you think? Let’s do it then. Go to Layer -> Add Adjustment Layer -> Exposure and enter the following settings:

Now your hibernation is enabled. You just want to hibernate your computer.

3. Close all the programs and windows and press Alt + F4. Then a shutdown box will appear. Now you will hold down the Shift button and there will be written "Hibernate" instead of standby. 

Click hibernate and your computer will be hibernated.

3. At last you will see a button of “Change”. Click to that button. Then select any drive and select “Custom size”.

4. In the “Initial size” Box you will write the size of the memory. Suppose you write “1024" it means that your Virtual memory is 1024 MB and it will use 1024 MB from that drive which you have selected. But be sure that your disk has that space you are going to write in “Initial Size” box. You will see also a “Maximum size” box. In that box you will write the value that you have write in the “Initial Size” box.

5. Then Press the “Set” Button. Don’t forget to press the set button. In some systems he will aks to restart your system then restart it immediately. After restarting your will see that your computer is faster than before.There is one more tip left. Don’t put any data in that drive you have installed your Windows. The more you store data on your Windows drive, the more your computer get slower.
